A Letter to My Future Self
写给未来的自己的一封信
At the end of last term, our teacher gave each of us an envelope and a piece of paper. She told us to write a letter to ourselves and open it three years later.
上个学期末，老师给我们每人一个信封和一张纸。她让我们给自己写一封信，三年以后再打开。
I did not know what to write at first, so I looked out of the window for a long time. Then I wrote about the things I was afraid of and the things I wanted to learn.
一开始我不知道该写什么，就望了很久窗外。后来我写下自己害怕的事，还有想学会的事。
I told my future self about a maths test I had failed and how sad I felt that day. I also wrote that I hoped I would still love drawing, even if nobody else liked it.
我告诉未来的自己，我数学考砸过一次，那天我有多难过。我还写道，希望自己依然喜欢画画，就算没有别人喜欢也一样。
When I finished, I folded the paper carefully and put it in the envelope. Now the envelope is in a box under my bed, waiting quietly for the day it will be read.
写完后，我把纸仔细折好，放进信封。现在这封信躺在我床下的盒子里，安静地等着被打开的那一天。
